Dinner with friends

We had a great dinner last night at my friends house. We had scallop potatoes and some green beans. My friend said she will return the meat where she bought it to get either another one or a refund. Most days my hubby struggles with a sinus problem that has had for quite a while. We went shopping while the kids were out of school for Christmas Break. I don't mean we went when it was crazy with other people running all over the place. We were careful to pick the day time to go shopping. I don't work so that works out pretty well. Still there were lots of people.

Sure we did some last minute shopping for gifts for everyone but the kids, but we also took a good look at what was on sale for my guys to wear back to school. We also found some cool buys on some back packs they had been wanting. That always gets them in the mood for school again.

We decided that this year our teenager is ready to take on some more responsibility so we let her begin setting the home security alarm system ( HERE). She is so proud to be part of the action. Now if we can get her going with other things as well.

I'm glad to be able to get them back to school once again. My kid are great, but it sure is good to have some time to myself again.

Too cold to walk

Since it's very cold to walk outside, my hubby dropped me at the mall this morning. Our daughter and I had lunch at the cheesecake factory and we both had turkey sandwich and fries on the side. Busy cleaning

I've been so busy cleaning the house this morning. I'm super duper tired and when my hubby ask me what we have for our lunch. I told him I'm too tired to cook today. It's been a week
